Just got my hands on the new version of Cinema 4d r13.

I wanted to try and see how efficient the new physical renderer was as apposed to doing all post in After Effects. The only thing I did in After Effects was layer the clips and add music and film burns.

Conclusion:
The Depth of Field and camera attributes in r13 are awesome. I love the integrated global illumination in the physical render. All in all this could have been done faster if I had done some things like composite the background in AE.

This turned out beautifully even though it took a little extra time.
